In 2019, the Conventional Rights of a Child celebrated its 30th Anniversary with a yearlong series of initiatives that culminated with a major celebration of World Children’s Day on November 20th in the United Nations General Assembly room. UNICEF asked Eventique to produce an event that would be equally riveting for kids as it would for delegates all over the world.
The agency’s creative and motion graphics team developed an original animated short that visualized CRC’s 30-year history, prominently displayed with larger-than-life projection mapping around the room. After inspiring speeches from David Beckham and Millie Bobby Brown, Eventique transformed the iconic space into a arena atmosphere with dramatic lighting, mega sound system, and Broadway-grade performances. Skip Marley covered a hip-hop-infused “Refugee” while Keala Settle belted out a powerhouse rendition of “This is Me” with the heralded PS22 school choir, with custom motion graphics as fierce as any stadium-grade concert.
